Open Question: Can I change the TPS myself (Buick Regal)?

After some intermittent transmission problems, I took my 1994 Buick Regal 3.8 to the transmission shop. They ran a diagnostics test and found the code for the throttle control sensor. Is this something I can change myself? Where on the engine is it located? According to an online chiltons book it looks like a 10 year old could change it. Is this misleading? It did not mention in the book any settings that had to be set after installation. Are there any? I am not a automotive expert by any means, but i am cheap and somewhat poor, so I have successfully done some repairs to this car.
